Chains
Every putt, counted.
Chains logs practice, shows your make percentage at every distance, and runs four drills on iPhone. JYLY, the Finnish putting game by Markus Lindqvist, and free practice also work from Apple Watch.

What it does
Practice that adds up
Log every putt
One tap per make or miss from any distance, in feet, metres or yards. Make percentage at every distance, from tap-ins to beyond Circle 2, with trends over time.
Four drills
Ladder, Peak Finder, Lock-In and Progression. Each one resumes where you left off, so a five-minute session still moves forward.
JYLY, scored for you
The 20-round game with your best, your average of the last 10, and your pace against your best round by round. A shareable scorecard when you finish.
On your wrist
Log putts or play JYLY from Apple Watch. Set the distance with the Digital Crown and leave the phone in the bag.

Chains questions
How do I log a putt?
One tap per make or miss, from any distance, in feet, metres or yards. Practice is free-form; the drills and JYLY keep their own history.
What are the four drills?
Ladder, Peak Finder, Lock-In and Progression. Each resumes where you left off. Ladder moves you back when you make all three, holds at two and brings you closer on one or none.
Does Chains play JYLY?
Yes, the standard game: 20 rounds of 5 putts from 5 to 10 m, with the score, your best and your pace round by round. The Long mode on this website is not in the app.
How does the Watch version work?
You can log putts or play JYLY from your wrist and set the distance with the Digital Crown. iCloud keeps the iPhone and Watch in step.
Do I need an account?
No. Your history is in iCloud, in the app's private database.
How is Circle 1 and Circle 2 defined?
Chains uses Circle 1 for putts within 10 m (33 ft) of the basket and Circle 2 for putts within 20 m (66 ft). A putt on the line belongs to the inner circle.
